Demon Vessel + Star Rage

Is this build really even good? Im struggling to kill finger bearer nightmare at 350 and 247 technique, don't have max and domain yet neither. Is there any particular way to play star rage?? Also which maximum should I get at 360? I plan to spin star rage for infinity when I get enough spins.

If you're dying to nightmare finger bearer the problem is not your innates, you're just bad
He has some of the most previsive attacks, and its only 2, the scream and the yellow bombs, if you cant dodge those you will never beat him
Star rage should be able to solo him no problem
